We need some suggestions and help in renaming our app! We launched our first App, Homemade Shooter at the end of March with very minor results. In the time that has lapsed we have applied a very heavy layer of polish on our game to bring it up to a higher level of quality that we are satisfied with. This has also included a push on the games theme to greater highlight the "stop the bullies" angle. We are aiming to relaunch with a major update to the game that will include a new title! Polish upgrade example: OLD TITLE SCREEN: NEW TITLE SCREEN: The objective of the game is to shoot bullies with your homemade weapons in order to protect a kindergarten's lemonade stand as the bullies try to steal from it. So we want to rename the title "Homemade Shooter" to something that describes the game more directly and plays up the "stop the bullies angle". Currently the best I have is "Bully Shooter" but that seems a bit to bland! We are launching our update in two weeks.
Thanks! another 2 im looking at are: - Schoolyard Vigilante or - Slingshot Vigilante the playable character is a 'vigilante of sorts' but that isn't really conveyed in the game, it just how you would describe him if asked.
I like the sounds of these names, but kids may have trouble spelling vigilante, which could impact your sales.
Except there is no bashing! all combat in the game is ranged combat Its quite tricky to nail a perfect title for our game! haha Thanks so far for your responses

Don't forget you can only display 11 characters for the name in iOS home screen. If you want to use a longer name, make sure the shortened version looks good as well.
It isn't always 11. I tried a game name that wouldn't fit 11 characters if any of them were capitals, I had to go with all lower case. Two 'm' characters were the problem. I tried another name that had 'i' several times and could fit 12.
