Not sure how "unknown" some of these games are but: Tactical Warrior (weak graphically, but everything else is pretty nice) Scribblenauts Remix (fairly well known but a really fun DS port) Sleepy Jack (intro price, mixed genre, part tunnel shooter, part shmup) Pix'n Love Rush (really fun platformer, different style of play, not everyone's cup of tea) Quarrel Deluxe (RISK meets Scrabble, very well polished) Death Rally (amazingly fun racing game, very well known though) Shake Spears (cool jousting game) Most of these aren't amazingly well known outside this site, so maybe you haven't seen a lot of them...
Ok thanks will probably check out Scribblenauts Btw whats the game with the best replay value for 99 cents and not too short?
Would also highly recommend Death Rally, couldn't stop playing till i had everything done. Jetpack Joyride is simple but also a massive addiction. Real Racing 2 HD, nice graphs and also very good gameplay
If you had 2.99 I'd tell you to get Lego Harry Potter (20+ hours of playtime). Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing is pretty good, along with Death Rally, or even real racing 2, since both have multiplayer. Scribblenauts has decent replay value (fairly short level-wise, but has a playground mode that lets you create whatever you want). NOVA 2 (shooter) also has multiplayer. Bike Baron has some great replay value to it as well....
Thanks alot but I have JJ and dont prefer racing games, any good action/adventure/word/RPG games for 99 cents Feel free to make a long list
RPG: Aralon (for sure) Shooter: NOVA 2 Action: Spiderman, Death Rally (it's an action racer, so possibly worth checking out) Word: Quarrel Deluxe (RISK meets scrabble), Scrabble, Words with Friends Special Mention: LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4, it's not .99 but you won't regret the buy, especially if you like the Lego games.. (20+ hours if you try to get everything in each "level"). Awesome game, one of iOS's best, and on sale for 2.99, the lowest it ever goes...
I haven't played Pocket RPG yet, but I can honestly say that Mage Gantlet is one the of my absolute favorite games to ever grace my iPod.
Hey LOLavi if you like line drawing games such as spy mouse then youll like drawrace 2 its absolutely a stunning upgrade from the original one if you like basketball games get NBA jam
Just curious for more suggestions - I got one pretty good one but with all the RPG buffs around on the website I don't think one suggestion is good enough!
how about zenonia it's not my type of game ( dont like krpg) but after all i read they all are pretty good and zenonia 4 is also free (but with iap) aaaannnd looks beautiful on ipad(tested it myself)
Hey which one would you get from these I like all of their genres they are: Rolando 2 Run! The settlers(gameloft) Zen bound 2 Bag it Blueprint 3D I like all of their genres BTW
The only one that I can recommend from that list is Rolando 2. Fantastic platformer even if it's a little dated. I'll probably get Blueprint 3D later and I'll reply with whether or not it has my stamp of approval.
You forgot Dark Meadow. That game is really awesome. I would say IB 2 too, but it has a lot of bugs. I won't be talking about the framerate in A4... buff...
I haven't been on in a couple of days because of Christmas, but I found a pretty awesome new app last night. Well, I guess it wasn't that hard to find since it's in the top 25, but I rarely ever check the AppStore since being on TA. Anyways, it's called Animoog and it's a pretty awesome synthesizer app. Apparently, it's created by Moog who is a pretty big/top company in the synth world. It's sorta taken me away from playing all the games I got because it's just so cool to make the crazy and unique sounds and then overdub them. I'm not really a musician but I have a fascination with music (especially synth and dubstep). The app is pretty overwhelming especially for a newbie (which i pretty much am). I'd make 1 wrong change and my song was completely messed up with no understanding how to fix it. The only problem with it is the that you can only make 20 second samples. It's kind of annoying since, like i said, I'm not a musician and don't have production software to export to. So, I'm currently looking into some free software or something. Hopefully they update the sampling time or at least offer an IAP for more production type stuff. Oh yeah, it has an Anisotropic Synth Engine which shows you the waves and orbitals from the sounds you make. It's interactive and awesome. This is probably the coolest part in the app for me. As Far As Games (newer stuff) Terra Noctis (retro platformer) Crazy Hedgy (jump'n'run adventure platformer) LostWinds (adventure platformer) Save the Furries (puzzle platformer) M.U.S.E. (TPS) Bug Princess (Shmup) Critter Chaos (puzzler) Stretched (puzzler) Dangerous (Space RPG)
