Nameless: The Hackers is a very fun menu based JRPG style game with some a fun cyberpunk style premise. It retains a sense of exploration without walking and has a lot of interesting combat grinding that I enjoy with diverse special abilities. Wait till it goes back up in price, it's worth the money to support these developers. Cheers to that!
Same, had this one on my radar for a long time but never a universal update so I forgot about it. For free I may give it a try though.
If I recall correctly the developer indicated that the graphics (which has a slight retro pixelation to them on iPhone size) were not drawn at a high enough resolution to support a Universal build.
Yup, absolutely right. It wasn't only the graphics, but the entire redesign of the UI left a ton of open space, and just "scaling things up" didn't feel right or necessary (especially when you can just 2X on an iPad). At the end, because mostly of budget and time, we regretfully can not make it universal. We did attempt it and it didn't work the way we had planned. However, the one good takeaway is... we are never doing that mistake again Our future iOS games will all be universal on launch. And THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT! I can't believe we got all the way to #12 in the free RPG category. You guys have always been a tremendous amount of inspiration and moral boosters to us. Thank you for everything you've taught us and I hope that we can continue to make games for you!
