We here at EzMoBo have recently begun wrapping up production of our newest game Pimp My Tan and decided to share a few screens of our upcoming release in the casual management game genre. It's always difficult to try and create something unique, especially with the climate of the app store right now being what it is, which is why I am glad to introduce to you something that is not a TD, platformer, puzzle, or zombie game. Pimp My Tan is a casual game in which you, the nameless protagonist assists a couple of fine young ladies in achieving the perfect tan. Check out some of the screens below: Any comments/question are welcome! Is the art style a little too real? I'd like to hear what everyone thinks.
cartoon bikinis should be ok? we began development on this before apple threw down the banhammer so there's no harm in putting this up for review. i do hope it passes though...i've had a few laughs while testing this game

yes this is a management game. think of it as barbecuing meat on the grill except instead of meat you're cooking beautiful women.
glad i brought a bit of amazing into your life today! i'll try to get a gameplay video of this game up here in the next few days to give you guys a better idea of what this is all about.

that's obviously not a bad thing there are a few more surprises in the game, but we'll have to see if apple approves it first

I just want to add that we've finally packaged v1.0 and shipped it to Apple for a review. I understand that there has been some concern over whether this app will get approved due to the theme of the game. I'm not gonna say I don't have any worries concerning this topic but after testing it for the past few days I'd have to say that this game doesn't feel overly inappropriate. We understand that this game has a somewhat suggestive theme...which is why we removed certain ideas during development (the white slimey residue left from rubbing lotion on the girls...was a little too Japanese tentacle porn-like) in hopes of making this title more accessible to all. Hopefully the review will be in our favor so you can all experience this game and that we can continue to update and improve it in the future. Until then, I'll keep my fingers crossed.
does that actually happen? obviously the reviewers are all human but i find it hard to imagine on what grounds could they possibly overlook any type of inappropriate app.
So last week we submitted this app to the app store and as some of you predicted, we got our rejection letter in about 3 days with the reasoning that our app had suggestive and pornographic elements! Well, most of the changes they wanted us to make were related to sound effects and for one of the special features we included that had to do with interacting through the microphone... So, with the new changes our app is once again in the review process. It seems that apple's stance on suggestive content (especially scantily clad women and sexy sound effects) hasn't loosened much, I guess it's good to know that much. I'll post an update when I find out the fate of our app.
