Nice piece, and good scoop. Love to know how you pulled that off and I hope it drives some sales for you!

Cool article! That's cheering me up to see another french indie do well! As you say in the paper, sometimes you can look at the mountain ahead and feel you'll never be able to climb it.
    Thanks for the inspiration.

nice read on a at times sad article :( .. i know exactly how you can start to feel isolated if you worked on big studios with sometimes hundred of coworkers and then switch to your home office where you are usualy working alone, except a few meetings here and there with other remotly working chaps..

i moved my home office long time ago into the livin room to at least see my gf once in a while.. being in a seperate room was not her liking too.. so now she can at least watch me work from the couch ;D and i can annoy her alot more to give me feedbakc on stuff here and there :D

again nice read.. let us know if this gives you at least a slight boost in sales..cheers.

Congratulations on the article! (and another friend from the indiegamer forum!)

I know how you feel about being a little isolated. I quit my job last month to focus on this full time and I definitely miss having at least some tecnhical and artistic people around me to check my ideas and talk to while i work.

My cat usually has some unique opinions though...

Congrats first! And I'm wondering how much does it drive your sales.

Do you still have time to do any real work ;)

  15. Great article! I'm thinking of heading into the indie scene myself but because of the isolation. I'm a pretty big introvert and prefer working from home rather than being sat in an office surrounded by people. But different people need different things :)
