Almost everything to buy requires you to play the game to unlock it first before you can buy them, so buying IAP isnt gonna help you get it any faster. Sure you wont be able to buy everything without grinding, but you can definitely finish the game without IAPs. Without IAPs, you can buy what you need to finish the game. IAP is there if you want to get everything ASAP, which you can eventually even without buying IAPs.
