Average coin haul for a level = 35-50. Cost in coins for 1 single use power-up = 500. Based on my first 4-5 levels, I wish people luck getting 3 stars without power-ups. It can be done, but it doesn't end up being fun trying, especially while feeling it's just difficult enough that you really wish you had some coin-based assistance. Aaaaand... deleted. Cute game though. Reminds me of the Tiki Totems/Lavalanche games, aside from the obnoxious coin-collection/power-up part. I kind of liked the twist of having water spilling out being tied to your stars for the sense of more challenge. But without power ups it's a fruitless effort pushing you towards IAPs. Ashame. Can't believe there are coins in a puzzle game. And the coin rate is outrageous for the extras. Hate to see a lot of these Chillingo games adding coins and stuff for no reason other than to milk the cows. So sad, Chillingo used to be a good company, now it seems that they are making all of their games freemium wanna bees and going free after one month. So sad. Oh well, on the positive side, we get to try all of them within a month. But getting fed up with these unnecessary coins and stores especially on a puzzle game. Sigh... slewis7 Well-Known Member Apr 6, 2011 3,775 41 48 Male Retired! Houston, TX #9 slewis7, Dec 11, 2012 Pretty nice for a freebie. I can ignore the coins and not worry about getting three stars on each level. I think Chillingo is a great publisher and don't fault them for trying freemium to find a way to make money in this market.
