Collect piles of treasure and items and invest in dozens of abilities and unlockable equipment. Test your skills against the oncoming darkness. Pocket RPG is a dual-stick action dungeon-crawler. In it you can choose from three distinct classes, each with their own combat style. The Dark Ranger uses his bow and arrows to assault enemies from a distance. The Blade Master gets up close and personal with a powerful arsenal of melee weapons. The Battle Mage uses her powerful spells to deal damage to the enemies and attack their weak points. You'll accompany one of these warriors on their journey to bring peace to the land by clearing out areas of monsters, one quest at a time. Each time you finish a quest, the levels you've gained and the equipment you've gathered will be converted into resources you can use to upgrade your character, expanding their abilities and strengthening their powers. You'll need all the help you can get. The dungeons, sewers, forests, and other environments you'll explore may have a lot of treasure to find, but they're also packed with huge crowds of vicious fiends. Use everything you have at your disposal to dispatch these wicked threats and ensure the forces of good are victorious. Pick from the agile Dark Ranger, the stalwart Blade Master, or the crafty Battle Mage. Each character requires a different battle strategy. Find the one that is best for you! Find new weapons, accessories, and equipment to aid you on your quest. Load up on coins to buy what you need from the shopkeeper. Collect potions to give you temporary boosts that will give you the edge in battle! The dungeons are teeming with tons of terrible creatures, all of them looking to have you for lunch. Slimes, golems, ogres, and more are waiting to ruin your day. You'll have to do some serious crowd control! Features: - Random level generation. - Amazing stylized 3D environments, monsters and characters. - 3 Character classes 3 different playing styles. - Dual stick for moving and attacks. - Automatic skills/stat progression based on the items your character equips. - Lots of Looting. - Swarms of creatures to take out with devastating combo moves. - Boss encounters. ************************************************** GameClub is a subscription mobile gaming service. It plays a bit like Diablo, but it has no random dungeons and is played with Dual Stick controls. It's actually one of the best of its kind, and I recommend getting it if you dont have it yet. basil Well-Known Member Apr 5, 2013 112 0 0 #6 basil, Jun 20, 2013 Art is a real turn off, is it worth it to tread through it? If you like dual shooter ARPGs or games like Samurai, Solomon's Keep or Max Adventure, then this should already be on your device. Great game, highly recommended! The fluidity of it, plus how dramatically & coolly your offense escalates as you collect gear are the attractions. It was never updated, and its relatively short, but the fluidity of the gameplay puts Dungeon Hunter III and IV to shame, plus no IAPs. Not deap enough to warrant the price before the sale imho, but with the sale, its a real solid pick-up if you like this type of game. Depth aside, its hard to point to any others that got the fluid + fun gameplay down better. It has never been free because there are no IAPs basil Well-Known Member Apr 5, 2013 112 0 0 #10 basil, Jun 20, 2013 Thanks for the input, Art. Game is hella fun, this is like a bite sized Diablo. Each stage you level up very quickly and get tons of cool gear so you don't really feel bad when having to begin another level without good weapons. Plus you get to keep your skills, the special moves are awesome, at least the melee guy's ones since he's the only one I played a lot so far. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
