How many robots are there? gemineye62 Well-Known Member Feb 16, 2010 641 0 0 #6 gemineye62, May 8, 2012 Last edited: May 8, 2012 The game plays well on my Ipad3. The fighting animations and robot movement is really nice. I played four or five battles and found the health and invincibility pick-ups to be really handy when fighting the robot armed with the pipe. The guard or block move works well to counter the attacks. It would be nice to see more fighting moves. The punching and spin kick would probably get pretty boring to use in time. My real big gripe would be the in app purchases needed to upgrade robots, buy robots and weapons. Sure you could fight and get the upgrades, but I only had 15 spanners after the fighting I did. At this rate, I would need to fight 24 battles or so, just to get enough spanners to buy a hammer or another robot. I'm really getting tired of these grinding games. It really takes some of the fun out of playing. Personally , I think the game would be better if you fleshed the fighting moves out a bit more and had the weapons drop on the battlefield for you to use when you defeat another robot. Allow the spanners found on the ground to upgrade the robot stats and body parts perhaps. That way the player progresses and sees his or her robot evolve a bit at a time. Getting a new head in say 5 battles is better than fighting dozens of battle just to get a hammer or that low end robot. Balance the fighting and rewards gained a bit more, so it does not feel like a chore! Good luck with your game! softbike Member Feb 28, 2012 7 0 0 game programmer south korea #7 softbike, Jun 17, 2016 Last edited: Jun 17, 2016 Robot Battle 2.0 Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
