It's called take a dagger and sneak-stab him in the knee... twice. Then you have 1 dead giant and none of the others have even spotted you yet, and they aren't aggressive either. Enjoy.

They're pretty easy later on but they owned me so many times even when I was in my beast form. People kept telling me they got way easier with beast form but they took me out in three hits.

Now though at level 45, I can easily beat them with my super enchanted bow alone.

I just plugged in 30 hours this extended weekend into Skyrim. Still living by the "don't fight giants" rule :p

For whatever reason, Oblivion didn't connect with me, but Skyrim...

Skyrim is something I need, like eating.

I officially clocked in 104 hours into Skyrim before I ended up "beating" the game. Around the 95 hour mark I decided that I needed to stop playing all the side quests and just take care of the storyline.

I liked Oblivion, but there was something really enticing about Skyrim that just made me want to keep playing.

Ok I killed a giant I spammed home with a bow from far away! Yes! Terrible drop though...

I was pretty freaked out by the quest

    House Of horrors

I haven't finished the whole thing yet but the first part is too creepy. Especially when your the only one awake in your house.

Am I the only one who loves to put buckets on guards' heads? And press "grab" on a random sword in a store and knock food off the table? haha :D

I use to do that a lot too it is fun and giants are a do avoid unless you can strategically take them out if your low level.
Besides that, once you become a higher level they are easier than most things you would commonly fight.

Shadowmere doesn't revive once he dies like in Oblivion. I think people said it revives in 15 ingame days in Skyrim though but I don't know if this is true or not.

I managed to kill a giant with a lvl 5 archer. Just kept shooting at them and running. It took a while, but I won.

Just finished the game. The fight with Alduin was incredibly anticlimactic. Was only level 12 (61 destruction), and dual-casted the same two novice spells, flames and sparks, I used all game to kill him in 30 seconds without getting hit once. Only used Dragonrend twice against him. Took a little over 15 hours in total. Only did one side quest. On the bright side, the final scene was pretty cool, lol. Hopefully, doing the side quests will be a lot more fun.

I'm currently about 110 hours in over two characters (took a long break over Xmas) and I think I've done about 6 main quests. Haven't even thought about progressing towards the end yet.

I mainly stayed to side quests and have left much of the main quest untouched. The game gets harder as you level up so I figure the main quest will be more epic at high levels.

The side quests have about as much detail as the main quest and I have found them to be consistently enjoyable. I particularly like the guild quests which are fairly long and multifaceted like the main quest.

I am now a level 34 and the game is still very interesting. I am almost done the main story-arc of the Thieves Guild and love creeping around dungeons and enemies now - I wish you could do knockouts like in the Thief series or Deus Ex and that shadows, body hiding, etc. played more into the stealth system.

Yeah, sounds good. I'll definitely play through a bunch of side quests when I get the time. Sadly, I won't be taking the 360 back to college with me once break ends so I don't know when that will be.

Go to markarth and go to the abandoned house and do the quest

    "the house of horrors"

    Right now!

Great little quest that gives a nice weapon, plus you get an achievement

Warning: may be a little freaky.

Quested for over three hours today. Just about finished with the Thieves' Guild. This is a ton more fun than finishing the main storyline was, lol. Currently in Mark. Will do the House of the Dead quest when I play tomorrow. Finally hit the 20-hour mark.
