sorry if this is in the wrong section. Anyway, I was thinking of gifting a friend of mine an app, how does it work exactly, like after I gift it to them do they get an email and then use a code to redeem the app (like a promo code) or something? Thanks.
your friend will get an email with a link what will take them directly to the game. they can then purchase it for free!
Every time I've done it iTunes emails them a code which can be redeemed for a copy of the game in iTunes, much like the promotional codes often seen here on TouchArcade.
