I can't vouch for these games... they don't seem to have much feedback either but many of the point&click adventure games Microids puts out are pretty well liked so don't kill the messenger. I locked in licenses for both games and will try Part 2 out and if I like it enough I will buy part 1 and start over. Keep in mind Part 1 is $0.99 and not on sale, Part 2 was $2.99 & 3 was $0.99. None have had price changes since late 2011. Appletini Well-Known Member Jan 8, 2011 2,564 0 0 Ankh-Morpork #8 Appletini, Jan 10, 2013 Bear in mind that when Microids uses this phrase, it means you're looking at an abridged version for iOS with 30-50% of the story and puzzles removed, so if it seems like the story doesn't make sense, jumps around, or has pieces/puzzles missing, that's why. Pretty much all of their multi-part games suffer from this issue. bashesh Well-Known Member Jun 3, 2012 81 0 6 #9 bashesh, Jan 10, 2013 I downloaded both. I honestly cant say much about the gameplay since I stopped playing in under 2 minutes because my eyes were burning with pixelated, very low res graphics. iPadisGreat Well-Known Member Dec 10, 2012 2,391 0 0 #10 iPadisGreat, Jan 10, 2013 Really wanted to download these. Don't mind paying for part I to complete the game, but these downloads are huge. nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #11 nightc1, Jan 10, 2013 Part2 is 538.6MB for the download and 586MB installed. So 1/2 the space of Karateka. I see no reason to download both games. Just lock in the license by starting the download and then delete it before it can finish downloading. I played some of Part2. It is lower resolution images and video but I'm old so I just see this as old school graphics which don't bother me. The voice acting and sounds/music are pretty good. The story started out with two dudes near me, I needed to find some engineering drawings or something for a fountain. I fumbled around talking to one or two other people in the room and then went outside. Talked to a gardener and then the cheif engineer or someone that said if I did something I could get them. A short video sequence later I was told the plans would be delivered to my room. Poof, I'm in my room. I think there must have been a puzzle to get the plans because the guy said if I helped him that he'd give them to me and to make sure I remembered the tree sequence of Lemon, Orange, and Pomegranate. But yet I didn't have to do anything. At the end of the day, I think the game is very reminiscent of the "Quicktime" games from the early to mid 90's. Where you move from space to space through arrows and you have free look ability. Some characters are all animated to look like real life is happening. Overall, it's decent. IF all the puzzles though are stripped out of the game it should make for a pretty quick play. The best part IMO are the weak old graphics. Mainly because there are places to explore. This isn't just a one room escape game... it's an old school quicktime styled adventure. When I finish the second part, I'll probably try the third before going back and buying the first. I caught on pretty quick to the task at hand... it's just a matter of exploring to progress ... which is often my favorite part of gaming anyway. iPadisGreat Well-Known Member Dec 10, 2012 2,391 0 0 #12 iPadisGreat, Jan 10, 2013 I got as far as the App Store the first time round when it occurred to me, HD...
