If you are waiting for the contact, keep doing lounge missions. You need to do 10 in order to continue the storyline. Go to different systems and take on missions from their lounges as well, until he contacts you to come back. As for drilling, try tapping the joystick, instead of holding it down and sliding, when you need to center the drill.
Looks like a good update from the fixes listed if only all games on the app store fixed issues as quickly. Only just loaded it onto my device so I haven't fooled with it any yet just checked it loaded ok really but looks good to me so far.
After a quick game update seems good I'm finding it easier to click on people in the spaceport and you have a speed up time button in space you can hold so you can travel faster to jumpgates etc. Save game is fine although I did have to turn the music on in the menu seems it defaulted to turning it off.

Well....finished the main story this morning... got about 10 gold medals still to get but all i can say is: Fishlabs: Please sir, can we have some more? Loved the game totally and just want another story to go at now. So hopefully you'll find it in your hearts to give us an expansion pack (which i'd willingly pay for) or more content generally somehow Found the final mission not too taxing .... even though i did it with patch applied i didn't find i needed the khodor drive to escape anyway ... just used a couple emp bombs to make my escape Now just hunting around for the last blueprint (Massdriver) and a cleaning up But a big well done to Fishlabs for making the most fun game i've played on the iPhone in a good while
Have to agree with you it's the best game on my Ipod and you can really tell how much work went into polishing it. I'd be willing to pay for expansions and addons myself I think this game has so much potential it would be a shame if it didn't.
Yes, I really enjoy this game, please not a year or more for a new one, "expansion pack" of course I pay for that.
The Aegir can be found usually in high level stations that are in Nevillion or Terran space. It is 2 million or something along those lines. 3rd most expensive standard ship in the game.
This is definitely a strange update for me Since it has been updated to 1.2, Galaxy on fire 2 doesn't even bother to boot on my ipod 3rd gen (firmware 4.1, not jailbroken). All I get is a VERY brief black screen and a fast exit to the dashboard. Before anyone ask, I dit reset my ipod before trying again. EDIT: that's not a great way to celebrate a thousand posts
