Looks good, like the artstyle and the idea of a randomised platformer. Obviously you'll have to get the mechanics as polished as possible. I think while the touch area can remain large for responsiveness, the virtual buttons could be a little more unobtrusive. Compare to:
Images look awesome. They remind me of an old turbografx 16 game. When do you guys expect "arcade jumper" to make it's way to the app store?

Even though old arcades are the real inspiration, I can't say that consoles games didn't have their influence as well! I played TurboGrafx 16 a lot as a kid (shoot, I still have one in my console collection!) We're still working on some things so it's difficult to say just yet when it will be hitting the App Store. Not long off though. It's been in constant development for nearly 6 months! Pardon the FPS counter in the bottom left. However, these screens were running on an iPod Touch 2nd Gen. It runs really well on it (although the FPS dips when I took screenshots, particularly on one of them!) so expect good performance on just about all devices. @Iljimae: More info will be released soon, along with more media! @headcaseGames: Thanks for the kind words, it's encouraging! =)
As a true 80's retro fan i'm loving the look of this ! Plus it has a left button Love platform games from Manic Miner to Sonic and onwards. Instant purchase for me, looking forward to getting this

Psst. Needs a character customizer Or at least unlockable charachters with different stats. Like a Sonic with the highest speed. Or maybe that would take away from the retroness...
Well, there are unlockable characters! We're still working on how and if they will have different abilities though!
retro arcade+platform game+Universal=instant buy! I just hope the controls will be tight and responsive. That would be the icing on the cake for me.
