I am hoping to find a hidden gem of a game featuring a 2.5D perspective view. In particular a platform type of game, but non platform games are welcome on the list. Thanks in advance for your response.
Wait... is 2.5D 3D animation in a 2D gameplay? or is it 2D animations in a 3D gameplay? Here's a few of those with 3D animations in a 2D gameplay. It is 3D animation with 2D gameplay. You can't just put cartoon 2D animation alongside with 3D FPS/any other 3D genre, it will look horrible as hell (even if you remove the 3D part and make it fully 2D, it will still look like hell).
It's still possible and there are good ones, but yeah, that's why i posted the ones with 3D animations in 2D gameplay in my list. Now that i thought about my list, i think Waking Mars is 2D-only. Cant really remember.
Yeah, waking mars doesn't really look that 3d to me, probably better of deleting it. I think the best by far is Dariusburst. It is frickin' awesome for its pseudo 3d effects, can you add that one to your list EP? Thxs.
