    Hello,
We would like to extend our offer to discuss a unique new way to market your app on our site over @ www.monstermobilemarketing.net/mashup/. We aim to mass market indie app developers on a large scale for a good cause as well as creating a novelty experience for app customers. Since the release of our project on December 15th, 2012 we have had great feedback & our traffic is insanely high as well as our alexa ranking. We really hope you take the opportunity to join us on this journey and be a apart of app history. We only charge $.05 per pixel to purposely make it affordable to smaller app companies. Upon completion of our project we will be selling T-shirts & framed posters of the completed board as a novelty approach to celebrate being part of the app community. Upon completion we will be donating $5,000 to 3 different agencies being, Toys for Tots, Capabilities Inc., & the 3rd organization will be decided by the largest pixel holder. We run a promo where any new members on our board that order at least a 3x3 slot is automatically entered into a 2 week premium banner giveaway throughout the entire length of the project. We hope to hear from you soon. Thanks for your time.

Over 250 Gs in your pocket if you fill that one. Minus the spare change you're donating.

Wasn't there some dude some years ago that did this exact thing, only he said straight out he wanted to be rich? It caught on thanks to the media and people bought pixels, filling it up with small logos and stuff. Eventually filling the whole board, making the dude mucho rich.

We're really not going to get rich off this project seriously. This project has 3 partners with equal split, plus as you said the donations. The United States taxes especially in New York are no joke so really if I did the math on it I'd be lucky to purchase even a decent car at the completion of the project. Haha. Actually I'm an indie dev myself & decided to partner up with a couple friends to mass promote indie devs. Feel free to check out my app Notes on a Roll. The Mash Up project is really aimed at helping indie devs not money. The milliondollarhomepage that I think your referring to was just random internet spaces sold for him to pay his way through college and get rich in the process. We're specifically aimed at only indie devs or app related websites. Had we wanted to get rich we would have made it more than .05 a pixel. :)

Indeed. We just launched this project on Dec. 15th, 2012. With Christmas, New Years, & now the CES going on we've been really pleased with the feedback & sales we've accomplished so far. We have reached out to New York Times & several other companies to at least do an article on it but so far have still been waiting for a response but we're committed to uniting indie devs with much smaller budgets than say Rovio. Thanks.

I don't want to be mean, but... really!?

    This worked exactly 1 time.
The hundreds of copycats failed miserably already.
I am wondering that there are still people who try to do this...

There is nothing wrong in trying to make money, but then admit it and then try to do something unique.
It is nice that you want to donate, but that won't make it easier to fill that board...

The first time it worked because the idea was new and unique and because the media picked it up.
It is not interesting anymore and no media will be interested to report about it.

Sorry for telling the truth, but you could save our and your time and do something constructive, like taking out the garbage :D

And if I wanted to be even meaner (word?), I would say: why do you need 3 partners for this? I make such a site in 10 minutes on my own.

Lol, Thanks for the feedback. We got thick skin being from New York and all so it's all good. The unique end to this is that it's only app related as opposed to just random internet casino non sense. We're not in this for the money either as explained as we're also indie devs & I explained the simple math behind the project. The board is filling up at a good rate since our launch around 2 holidays & the CES so we're not to worried about press picking it up. At any rate thanks again for your opinion & on a side note the garbage is out & now that your 10 minutes is up get in the kitchen and fix our dinner. (word) Haha

I agree 100% and we've never said we won't make money off from this project but serious once it's completed I could literally purchase a newer vehicle & my end of the project money would be gone, Lol. This isn't just a standalone project, the site is actually an app review site for iOS & Android apps. This project just kicked up as something we wanted to do exclusive to apps only. The kid that did this back in 2005 did a $1 per pixel which is extremely pricey in our book. Seems that we're specifically trying to help & be a part of app indie devs trying to compete with the marketing dollars of larger companies that spend more on marketing in a month than we could in 5 years, $.05 per pixel seemed fair however it did in that process create a huge board. We've added an extra $5,000 going out in a donation to a indie developer upon completion as well to help a dev out with more marketing dollars or to kick start another project for them. Not many people in any field works for free to my knowledge for their work and given that we don't anticipate media to pick up on this project that means marketing the project takes a lot of time reaching out to people. Just thought it would be a cool novelty project for devs given the fact not everyone can say they've created an app. My 2 older sons think it's so cool that we developed a few apps that we've actually had T-shirts made up for them with our apps on them so I suppose in some eyes it is a bit of an achievement to be a dev. At the end of the day making money isn't that high on our list of goals here but at the same time we're just like everyone else we don't work for free. If you'd like to see greed in terms of money & attempting to fool people putting his own apps on his board check out the millionpoundapp.com. $1 per pixel with at least 2 of his own apps on there. Just saying.
