I released my first Google Play app today (PAID) and have no idea how to provide reviewers with a free copy of the game, on iOS there are promo codes but I have found no equivalent on Google, what do you use?
As far as I know you cant. The only way I know of is to offer a refund on the purchase, but it's not exactly a smooth way. Perhaps you could add a beta version of the app and invite reviewers as testers or something? Dont know, havent tried it myself, but in theory it could work?
I spent several years editing an Android site, and there was never one clean solution. If you have an APK, just send that over to trusted press. Refunds are also an option. One developer once created a special press version of the game, but only made it available as a test version, to distribute that way. But literally no one else tried it.
