The winners of last week's Game of the Week poll are in... pending Last week's GOTW thread: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=246845 The first part is nomination where every member can vote up to 5 games to be included in the poll. Releases active before Saturday are eligible (even if they aren't listed in this original post), weekend releases can be nominated the following poll. 10 games with the most nominations will then be added to the poll on Sunday. Poll will remain open until next Wednesday and whichever game has the max votes, will be Touch Arcade forum's Game of the Week. Please note: 1) Developers, publishing partners, or affiliates cannot vote for their own games. If your game is in the poll, you can't vote for it. You are free to ask TA forum posters in your game release thread to vote for your game... but please don't post multiple messages about it. 2) This voting is for TA members with some activity. If you have to ask someone to create a new account to vote, you're doing it wrong. 3) Suspect votes may be void. 4) Game updates, no matter how significant are not eligible for GOTW. There are enough new games to nominate that haven't been considered before. Notice of this poll may be given in the threads of all nominated games. You can see new games by looking at AppShopper.com and checking the "New" tab. http://appshopper.com/games/new/ Adventure Age Thread Battle Worlds: Kronos [iPad Only] Thread Bitcoin Billionaire Thread Briquid Mini Thread Car Breakers Thread Day of the Viking Thread Hag of One Million Years Old Thread Heroes & Legends: Conquerors of Kolhar Thread Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition Thread The Lost Heroes Thread A Mechanical Story Thread Monkey Racing Thread Mr Particle Man Thread Muertitos Thread Noon Thread Rebels and Redcoats [iPad Only] Thread The Sailor’s Dream Thread Super Forest Dilemma Thread Theseus 3D Thread World of Warriors Thread Credit to Ap0calypse, ImNoSuperman, TriggyWiggy, Arta, TheFrost, and EchoSeven for the GOTW legacy.
Bitcoin Billionaire Caveman Pong* Mr. Particle-Man .NOON. **could 'Caveman Pong' please be added to the list?** Thanks!
Certainly Mr. Particle Man is my first choice for GOTW. Nods go also to; Day of the Viking - super polished, fun game. Monkey Racing- this game has the potential to be an iOS classic but has some issues to be ironed out. Can't forget Theseus 3D- a great current conception of an iOS classic. A great week to be an iOS gamer! Richard EDIT: Super Forest Dilemma is a sleeper hit and shouldn't be missed by puzzle fans!
Battle Worlds Kronos Icewind Dale Caveman Pong was released Oct 30th, that is last Thursday and means it doesn't really qualify for this weeks poll unless Undeadcow wants to let it roll of course.
US Simulator Perfect Squares Bitcoin Billionaire Ekiden Saga Could these games except for Bitcoin Billionaire added to the list of noms please? Thanks.
Muertitos Dojo Slash My favorite game would have been Slider, but as a highscore chaser without GC leaderboard, it just disqualified itself. Btw, no Mod has done his job to put it into the right section because i was dumb enough in first place. Any Mod ready to do it, please ? (From General Discussion to New Game Thread) Not english native, so please don't see it as an offend to the Mods, thanks.
Muertitos .NOON. Edit: Mr. Particle Man Removed (it wouldn't have got my vote anyway in its current state) Lost Viking (Lost Viking may have temporarily pulled from sale. It did come out this week though. Can it be nominated?)
Imho, it should be nominated when it comes out as a "new" game, since they seem to have it re-named and hopefully balance it as well. Right now it's just a beautiful brilliant though very messy game in a beta stage.
This has been a problem with pixeye. They always have great ideas for their games, butthey mess up in the development somewhere, then they keep changing mechanics which could potentially break the game, or make people lose interest in the game.
RPG Asdivine Hearts - was it for last week? I don't even see it in that list :/ Bitcoin Billionaire (probably more, but these use up all my gaming time currently)
If a game is rapidly pulled from sale then precedent is such that is not be considered until it is re-released. Nominations have not even completed so it could be argued there's been unequal chance for people to purchase and those with the initial release may not have a build intended to be final. If anyone wants to suggest otherwise, let's discuss. Asdivine Hearts was in last week's poll for voting, http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=246845. I messed up the last week link in OP though. Personally I don't think I could give enough money to Pixeye, he's certainly worth supporting and the asking price is very small as is. Nature of indie games here in my opinion.
Boogey Boy Car Breakers Mr. Particle-Man Super Triclops Soccer Sweet Drmzzz I also bought A Mechanical Story, Briquid Mini, Chain Breaker, and Theseus 3D, but I liked the above titles a little more.
