Our app's icon was stolen for a scam app and used blatantly on the appstore. We contacted Apple about it. I also warned two other developers, whos copyrights were infringed the same way by those accounts. Clicking it will give you "item not available" in iTunes!) Always watch out and report such accounts and also warn other developers, if you see, that somebody abused their intellectual property!
If it was your game mate I'd agree it was not on and disgusting but an icon? c'mon get a grip. its only an icon. jeez Could be 100x worse
Oh you mean, an icon is nothing? Did you already paid for an icon? A professional one? What about an icon appearing on 4-5 apps and people get confused? Worse: when people start thinking that you are a scammer, because they buy something with your icon that is a blatant rip off. Are you even a developer? Did you even develop something with your own blood and sweat? If you actually are a developer, for your next game save your time and just use the icon of a Disney game, if you don't think it is that bad. Let us know, what Disney said!
