hi gamers I want to know what kind of game do YOU want to be upcoming!? I'm putting up a poll here and hopefully it can let the developers know which type of game you're looking for. I'm rooting for a hardcore RPG. Why? Because there's nothing like Zelda on the iPhone. Why do you want YOUR type of game to come out?
You left out ALOT of categorys and put in 4 different types of RPGS? I like FPS and Racing games most. Right now the games I want most are Warm Gun, Rainbow Six, Forgotten Memories and Ultra Kid.
sorry, I can't seem to edit it. Obviously I'm a bit of a RPG fan and slightly biased But, I felt it was very necessary to distinguish the RPG genres. You can ask the other gamers, I'm sure they are hurting more varying types. Hopefully we don't need to ask for more FPS games, because the high budget companies like Gameloft have that taken care of. Many of the game developers for the iPhone are lower budget and can't put the $ necessary into a First Person Shooter. Its also very hard to program and have running at a reasonable frame rate. Even if you look at the games from the Unreal Engine, they don't have many characters on the screen. Racing games can also be pretty high budget. Do you think a pixel based racing game would be cool though?
I want to play a GOOD demolition derby game with a 'last car standing' in the arena aspect! Want to see damage effect in real time with the cars getting munched until they catch fire or explode or just die! Can't think of even one here on the ios that's any good! If there IS one, and I don't know about it, that would scratch my itch for that! A true Burnout type game would be good, as well! That's what I'd like to see. And lastly, I would LOVE for Taito to bring the old Jungle Hunt game to the ios!
i want hardcore RPG WITHOUT missions i mean the REAL RPG like Final Fantasy...but i want to FPS like Call of Duty Black Ops...but first option is hardcore RPG
Some more point and click games. The Iphone was made for those kind of games. I really want to play Full Throttle on my ipod.
Agreed. Tired of either racing sims like real racing or boring NFS titles. A more in depth online play for a FPS would be great, the online play on MC2 is too stripped down it doesn't seem that hard to add more meat to multiplayer. I'd also like to see more fast paced games that work well with the touch screen
awesome posts and ideas I hope the devs listen to us. Surprisingly many want a derby game. And for the Hardcore RPG voters, your category is winning, but what kind of hardcore RPG are you looking for? What kind of battle system for it? I find fans of hardcore RPGs are sold on certain battle mechanics.
Definitely option 2. Looking out for more games that can match up to Aralon. I hope Shadow Sun is coming out in the near future..
platformer / side scroller catching up! I'm surprised to see this category too. There aren't any good platformer games on the iPhone? And are there no good beatemups?
i've gotten kinda bored of the same old aralon: sword and shadow type of thing- we need either an aralon WITH GUNS or a zelda (not sacred oddessey) someone message me if there are any apps that are like the ones suggested above ^_^
