Price change hasn't hit yet, but should in the next few hours. This game wasn't the best when it came out with piss poor touch controls. But with several updates, it's much better now. Lovecraft (1890–1937) which has, since it was published in 1928, captured the imagination of generation after generation of fans. Returning to the horror from Lovecraft's original 'Reanimator' set during the dark days of WW1, Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land draws the player into a nightmare world where the terror of mustard gas and trench warfare are but a foretaste of what is to follow. But I have never been able to enjoy a strategy RPG before, so probably this was a waste of money. LOL. I'll find out soon enough. Hopefully this will be the one I end up liking. Was a good buy at $1.99 (and not bad at its normal price, which I paid), but if you're really craving a great TBS, I'd highly recommend Hunters 2 over this. Not that this is a bad game by any means, but H2 is probably my favorite TBS on the iOS now if you're planning to spend $4.99 on one. crunc Well-Known Member Aug 11, 2008 4,575 0 0 #13 crunc, Apr 5, 2012 I played this for a bit yesterday. I'm a bit turned off by the fact that this seems to have little to nothing to do with Call of Cthulhu. Neither the RPG, nor the mythos. It feels like they added some sort of mythos-y dialogue to a game that didn't originally have anything to do with CoC whatsoever. I'll keep plugging away at it, but I hope it gets more Lovecraft as it goes. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
