I'm running it on an iPod 4th gen and it's pretty smooth. Just close backgroung apps and/or restart your device.
I can't assure you if it's Retina, but it looks f**cking great! Edit: Seems like it doesn't support...
Please help I have first iPad running 5.0 I'm only able to play the crazy box mini games. The arcade and original will not let me play the game. After I select the game it crashes. Any suggestions?
I don't normally buy games the day they are released, but no way could I pass this up! I loved the Dreamcast version. The game crashed the first time I tried it (iPhone4) but after rebooting my phone and clearing out the memory, it's working fine so far (although there has been the occasional framerate issue). For any fans of the original, this is a must buy. I'm loving having this game on my phone!
I tried that, and it still fails. What iOS version are you running? I'm running iOS 5.0.1, so that might be the problem Edit: I checked, and it turns out I can play the Crazy Box games...I only checked arcade and original...the crazy box games might keep me occupied until a bug fix...I have tons of other games to play
Go to toucharcade main page. Scroll down page to crazy taxi $4.99 click that it will take you directly to it.
Decided to get it and it runs pretty well on my 3GS. Controls are great and having fun with it, but is there any way to turn off the vibration? It's really annoying and there doesn't seem to be a setting in the options.
Lots of hype for this one. Think I'll hold off for a price drop, or a few updates to iron out any kinks. Too many other games out tonight that I want to get into first.
That's odd, I'm running iOS 5.0.1 too (not gonna update to iOS 6, btw). I can play any game mode just fine. The game crashed twice before the character selection screen but that's all. Which seems to be exactly your problem, since there's no character selection screen on the crazy box games. Maybe if you reinstall... I don't know
I would have been happy, if Farsight, the devs of pinball arcade, would have noticed that. Most of their tables are so easy, you can play them more than 60minutes. Nothing to do with the feeling of real pinball tables.
Oh yes, it looks tremendous on the new iPad. It's like holding a portable Dreamcast. The touch controls are spot on, the weight of the cabs is perfect. I always think back to when I tried the PS2 version years after the DC version, the cabs were too heavy. £2.99 though. I paid £70 for this on Japanese import back on the Dreamcast! Oh yeah, you double tap the drift button for a Crazy Through. Still trying to figure out Crazy Dashes though.
