So rock 'n' roll it'll make you puke, Say What You See: Music Fest is coming to the app store next week (Apple approval permitting).

The demonic offspring of Where's Waldo and Dingbats, Music Fest is a large puzzle painting featuring 50 hidden bands - all you have to do is spot them!

The bands are disguised as visual clues - so a flaming arcade machine = Arcade Fire.

It's a lot like the extremely popular Cryptic Canvas that Empire magazine did a few years back (we even used the same artist the very talented Amie Bolissian), so check that out if you want a taste of how the app plays.

In the app, you'll be able to share your scores with friends using Openfeint, save your progress and access our forums, to discuss the puzzles with other users.

We'll also be releasing new paintings every month, each with a different theme.

Our website will be up at www.swysapp.com next week to coincide with the launch, but we're also posting plenty of content on our Facebook page, here: www.facebook.com/swysapp It's worth joining the Facebook page, as we'll be running weekly competitions to win Ticketmaster vouchers.

    Hope you like the app!

And it's out in the App Store today! Took a bit longer than expected (development is never an easy ride), but be really excited to see what people think. Be glad to offer out some promo codes if people want to try it.

I've got a question before buying this game : do you actually need to speak with game ? Do you need to use the mic ? ( cos' I'm on a itouch and don't want to spend money if I can't use the app)

Nope, just type in answers - the title just refers to the way you solve clues by 'saying' the objects on screen in your head.

For example, there's a cat playing with dolls, so you think: 'what's that? It's "Pussy cat" and "dolls" Ah, must be "Pussycat Dolls"' and then type that in as the answer.

There's a Facebook discussion forum that's already heaving with people offering each other clues.

Brilliantly, it's already proved really popular in the UK:
