If you like a more arcade-type game, Backbreaker is the way to go. It has better graphics, and has much smoother gameplay, for me at least, since it focuses on a few objects rather than an entire football game, with two full teams. However, out of the two full football games, I do prefer Madden 10, partly because of the system to draw your own plays, and the less choppy quality. Although people tend to disagree, I believe that the graphics of Madden 10 and NFL 2010 are about the same, with Madden focusing more players and the field, while NFL 2010 focuses on the stadium. NFL 2010 is cheaper, but if you've liked the Madden series, then I say just stick with it.
