Anyone know what happened to the Top 200 Lists?

When iTunes 9 was first released, Apple started showing the Top 200 apps in each category.

Now they've reverted back to showing only the Top 100.

Anyone heard what happened and when/if they are bringing back the Top 200?

I am hoping it is a temporary technical glitch.

    Thanks!

I'm guessing that the 200 was only enabled to offset the fact that the sub categories were broken and to make more games visible while Apple fixed it.

  3. Hmmm...could be. I hope they bring it back though. I found it useful both as a developer and as a gamer.

As a developer, it would give more visibility to games when they are new and trying to get attention.

As a gamer, it would show me more games that might be worth investigating without having to search through 20,000 or more others.

I don't know if it's the reason, but the scrolling performance of the top-200 list on iTunes was really bad.
