And also it was said that they were going to make an iOS version in February this year. I already knew this, anyway.

Unless you're playing on an iPad, I don't see how the iOS version of this would be much fun. Hard to get creative with small blocks on a small screen.

It's not that bad, I've had lots of fun with Eden and Mooncraft.

You think it's more featured than the android version? If not you are in for a dissappointment...

You can't invent tools, no monster, no lava, you don't have to research certain elements before you can use them. There is no such thing as non-endless inventory of objects or blocks you have to stack up, collecting up.

Instead you have 36 elements and objects, the 3 (!!!!) and only tools are ladder, fence and small light, then 4 plants and the rest 29 element blocks.

The android version is labeled Minecraft Pocket Edition, so because of the name my guess is that they will never update it with features of the full desktop version, otherwise there would be no pocket in the name right?

EDIT: all the 36 things you can use, you do have in an endless amount, you don't have to look like in the desktop version, that you run out of stock, all 36 endless infinite stock.

Lol, clearly you haven't played the game if you say there is no lava.

I have installed it on my SonyErricson Xperia Mini Pro and played it several times already ;)

Minecraft for mobile isn't much fun because you can't invent objects and have no monsters.

But if you say so, I have to dig in the ground then much more times to find lava, right?

I said I didn't find any lava while digging in the ground. The desktop version has deep in the underground even lava C-A-V-E-S dude, which is there frigging awesome, you even can build boats to swim in that caves OMG

You see that is much more awesome than having a "generic" stupid block to build.

Of course building biiiiiiig machines or abstract buildings/art/endlessminecraftcreatifityinserthere is so much fun in Minecraft, look at all those youtube videos from others. But isn't so much fun when you can't build automatic machines with some sort of array programming in the mobile version. Has to do also something with the point that you can't invent tools or axes etc.
