The official website also has the release date as April 12. I can't believe I've never heard of it until today. http://www.sunsidegames.com/crow/
Not for me. I tried the beta and while the presentation was excellent I found the gameplay to be dull.
Don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but to me, this seems like one of the worst release weeks this year other than the games that have already been released. (Miku, Five A Day, Cubis Creatures) Would love Burnout Crash, but that's not a definite release and I will pick up Burger Cat. Jetpack Joyride is getting a major update. Rinth Island and Coco Loco just got updates. Other than that, nothing special for anyone who isn't into the hardcore type games. I know that many people are highly anticipating Crow, Max Payne, and the Infinity Blade 2 add on, but nothing from Chillingo other than a sim is disappointing. To those looking forward to the more hardcore titles I mentioned above, have a blast!
The presentation is hugely impressive, but I'm not sure what to make of the actual game yet. Watched a 12-minute-long vid, and I don't know...
Burger Cat has been pushed back to April 19th: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=2219660&postcount=44
Dull? Thats the least word I would use next to Crow, BETA TESTED it too and was a fantastic ride, really want to see the finished product... so this week nothing at all? Well, at least we got Cubis Creatures AND Ball on a Wall Pocket... (and Crow, of course)
What i love about iOS gaming is that i'm also often surprised by some games, i see a screenshot and think urrgh thats not my cup of tea but of course you have to try the game and often i'm converted. Its like watching sport, you might not bother with Rams/Browns as on paper its two terrible teams, but that could be the game which turns out to be a 35-31 shootout ! So dont dismiss all the games in the 'worst week for releases' as you 'may' be surprised by one or two games after watching the gameplay vid by Sanuku or downloading a lite version. Also hoping there'll be the odd surprise getting released, remember when a few apps (Eg Midway Arcade or the Atari app) just appeared from nowhere
Max payne is retina enabled for the new ipad! And 1.11gb compressed making it the biggest ios game ever??? (fallen nation was 1.05gb)
Totally forgot about that one, which clocks in at 1.34 gb so even bigger! I can't wait either, tonight's gonna be awesome
It is? Wow. And fyi for the one who said Max Payne was bigger than MC3, you're wrong. Mc3 is 1.8gb uncompressed while mp is 1.3.
