Looks like Gameloft is going to try to intercept F.A.S.T and Ace Combat and cash in on their market. Gameloft always have a way beating other devs to it. They hear about a game, then they develop and release a similar game just before the other game is released, in an attempt to steal from their market. Sneaky Gameloft . Personally I am still more excited to see Ace Combat come to the iPhone, the graphics look better. But I am still looking forward to this one. I think it will be great game in terms of graphics, but gameplay like in many Gameloft games will be too simple and boooooring..
Well I think the opposite. The graphics don't look too good (at least when compared to Ace Combat) from the screens on PG's hands-on. The gameplay should be good though, as it usually is with Gameloft games.
Eagerly lookin forward to both ace combat and HAWX.I am a sucker for dogfighting games. Sometimes screen shots don't do full justice....Would like to see a video.
In my opinion (only in my own) Gameloft games in most of cases are just good-looking... Gameplay in most of games is too simple or looks like gameplay from previous games from Gameloft..
Thanks.. Just as I said: impressive graphics.. I can't say anything about gameplay at the moment. But as Eli wrote - engine probably will be used in upcoming games.. Gameloft style
Uggh. I wish professional developers were in charge of Hawx. How many modes is this one going to lack? How little replay value in this one?
Hopefully this will be the start of more Tom Clancy games on the iPhone. Maybe sometime we will see Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, Splinter Cell etc. Gameloft/Ubisoft FTW!!!
Way to flame. I don't have a problem with some of Ubisoft's developing studios, but Gameloft makes me think otherwise. Overhyped, poor quality games, and they still get money.
They've had 25 people working on it for 8 months to get this game. That's likely far beyond the comfortable limit of an acceptable development cycle for something they have to sell for under $10.
