    Revolt.

Hand-downs, it's the best. With 20 survival maps and lotsa weapons and epic rolling techniques it's the bomb.

No problem. Also be sure to try out these other great hidden gem dual stick shooters:

    Alien Space
    Captain BomBom
    Meow Meow Happy Fight
    Critical Wave

    Those are all good ones!

Wait till Max Adventure is out, that's no doubt the best one.

True! That one will definitely be awesome.

And Don't forget Bug Heroes and Etolis: Arena. Those look good too.

Agreed, they do look good, but I actually played Max Adventure, so I'm certain about that. :>

    Show-off!!!

    :p

I can't wait to get my hands on that one. It's like my Number 1 most anticipated game.

my personal faves are and always will be (probably):
    PEWPEW 2
    and
    METEOR BLITZ

noth games have awesome slick controls, and intense gamplay to match. pewpew 2 had LOADS of replay value for me, because of the medal system, and when i got tired of one mode, i just switched to another! the story missions were, though short lived, great fun!

meteor blitz has an arcade mode and a survival mode, but i mainly play the survival mode. and it rocks. think superstardust on an Idevice. superb graphics, effects, music, the lot.

    get them both

also, having tested all of the aforementioned but unreleased dual stick shooters, i can say max adventure pwns for the casual dual stick shooter, bug heroes for the RPG dudes, and etolis arena is somewhere along the lines of revolt. my fave would be max adventure though, as it's great fun to get into once in a while, in between the more intense dual stick shooters, pewpew, meteor blitz, etc.

I was starting to get a bit of that feeling playing Age of Zombies when zombies would begin to surround you. Not to the level of what iDracula does, but close.

My favorite Space Shooter is Alien Space. Upgradeable weapons, tough enemies, good sized campaign mode and a survival mode... good stuff.

I have to go with Alien Space also. My favorite used to be Meteor Blitz, but it only has 3 weapons and really they're pretty much the same thing. I love that all the weapons in A.S. have their own unique qualities and you can pick them based on your gaming style. Right now my fav combo is the laser and missiles. The laser, especially when you get to upgrade level 3 and up is like a hot knife through butter when you get close enough to anything.

But I have to say my favorite thing is when I can get a bunch of enemies to get close to each other and then drop a mine right in the middle of the group and dash out. It's just so... lovely! :D

    Meteor Blitz-best space based
Age of Zombies-survival maps hectic fun
    Revolt-just hectic fun
    Solomon's Keep-great customization, gameplay
    iDracula-panic rush!

Since the old grandaddy (iDracula) that launched this genre with a bang, there have truly been many exceptional games in the DSS category..these are my favorites.
