Everplay is proud to announce Spellsword, an upcoming super hack and slash endless arena survival fantasy mini-RPG!
Yeah, it looks good! Isn't some of the design from (or based off of) Terra Noctis? Also are you guys planning on making a freemium and/or paid version?
Same team from Terra Noctis so similar art style. Initially, we are planning a paid version. Depending on how well Terra Noctis: Free Dreaming does, we can look at making Spellsword a free2slay variant, but nothing planned yet.
We are looking at Marchish time. And if you look at one of the screens, there are "missions" or "quests" in different areas, but still endless gaming. Somewhat inspired by Jetpack Joyrides epic use of the mission system.
Spellsword......Mage Gauntlet spin-off......touche. The only reason I am here is because the name reminded me of the Mage Gauntlet spin-off, and now look, I'm very interested. They knew I would come.
Yeah, we saw that from Rocket Cat. Honestly, we were working on Spellsword long before we heard about the Mage Gauntlet spin-off, but I guess it worked in our favor? (Their game isn't called Spellsword, is it?!)
I'm thinking along lines of an identical nature If the RPG components are solid, and the action is actually skill-based/twitch/challenging, this could find a permanent home on my device On a side-note: I'm glad to see you fellas behind Terra Noctis are already deeply invested in your next project. I expressed a heartfelt wish over in the Terra Noctis threads that Terra Noctis: Free Dreaming would lead to more people purchasing Terra Noctis premium (the first pure platformer I've enjoyed since Super Mario World, 17 years ago), so that you fellas could continue to enrich iOS with your creations. And here you are, in the process of further enrichment! EDIT: I must admit that the Spellsword guy from the upcoming Rocketcat does indeed look a bit like your protagonist. Kinda like a younger/older (age is so hard to determine in pixel art ) and blonder brother
So it seems our Hero got into a battle with some "high and mighty" elf hero trying to woo some princess... and our Hero took his hat as a trophy...
