iPhone Looks like Boy Genius leaked out some screenshots

how does this work with no camera?

 

I'm pretty sure those (in that particular screenshot) are iPhone apps, not iPad apps. Look at the thin aspect ratio, how big the UI buttons are on the bottom of the screen, and how big the text is.

so it looks like BG just grabbed whatever they thought were ipad screenshots from a google search

 

It won't. I bet you'd find the same app on the App Store from the iPod Touch. Just because it there, doesn't mean you can use it.

He's right about the text, but don't the iPad and iPhone have the same aspect ratio?

 

Nah, iPhone has thinner aspect ratio, that's partly why pixel-doubling old apps on the iPad won't fill the whole screen.
iPhone: 480/320 = 1.5
iPad: 1024/768 = 1.33

 

Man some of the screen shots really make the ipad look like it could be used as an awesome cookbook.

But looking at the damage I have done to some of my cookbooks I am not sure if I should use it as one
