They are both different and both deserve a permanent spot on your iPod.

Yes, although I'm definitely a CS.one fanboy, I will say isotope still deserves a spot. Isotopes updates have really helped the game and it's the best geo wars "CLONE". CS.one is for those who wanna try something a bit different.

Isoptope. Their gameplay isnt very similar, aside from being shooters.

Would just like to point out that those that have actually played CS.one till they understood it, have had almost universal praise for it.

Isotope is the sure way, nice package with lots of content and really polished gameplay.

But CSOne deserves praise above any shooter out there and at the current .99 price, it is an absolute must-have (arguably your chances to love or hate it are probably 50%)

I would say that's about accurate:)

  13. cs one has totally broken high scores, levelling and leader boards, making the online aspect a complete waste of time right now.

Hopefully those problems will get fixed soon, because the game pretty much hinges around the score aspect.

Right now I would suggest isotope over cs one

So I'm a big fan of Isotope, mostly because of the RPG/Unlocking elements that it has in it. I've yet to touch survival mode, although I probably will here before too long, but really the draw for me has been the ability to customize your ship.

Does CS.One have anything like that, or is it just basically all survival mode all the time, with no customization? (And I don't count picking up powerups within the level as customization.) I've been eying it at the $.99 price, but I'm not really big on competing for highest scores - that just doesn't really interest me at all.

I have both and I love Isotope. Its one of the few games I play regularly.

the updates have done ALOT to fix the slowdowns, the game plays very fast for me with 10% or less system memory open (quickSMS, voip3g, status notifier, etc all running).

Also has some very competetive leaderboards and they fixed any cheats / bugs that I can remember.

CS.One just doesn't do it for me cause of the controls... Yes, I know you shoot straight.. but that doesn't mean I want to shoot straight.. i want dual joystick.. its just my style of gameplay.

    Isotope blew me away

I didn't see what the big deal was with Isotope when I played the lite, but it grew on me big time. Now I've finished the game and have a garage full of fully upgraded ships. It's just so much fun. Get it, give it a few tries for you to get used to it, and then prepare to be blown away as you make your way through the levels.
    (I vote for Isotope)

When did you play cs.one the last time?
It has got dual stick controls for quite some time. Pretty perfect ones.
And the dev integrated it just because of people like you
and you don't even check it ;) Fail!
So, give this game another try. It is WAY easier now with the dual sticks.

I still say, Isotope gets old quickly. Cs.one is rush after rush after r.... :)

I would definately vote for circuit_strike.one! Both games are great, but cs.one has the top spot on my game page, and always will.
