Does anyone know how to find the black beard? I have everything but it and when i start a game it doesn't have the treasure indicator. Any ideas? I've done several runs past 1000 yards and no luck.
I found the beards by attaching the telescope as the waist item (to see if there was any treasure in the level), then I just kept restarting the level until it showed that there was treasure in the level. Hope that helps
the beards are not meant to be found at a certain place. they are random items and you should consider yourself lucky to have found one!(though i've got everything) however, if you've got the voodoo blood amulet (map unlocked by killing 10 bats), then the beard is not needed, as the amulet is far superior(grants 1 extra heart)
I have the telescope and have retied dozens of times but I'll keep at it. just wanted to make sure there wasn't a set condition or anything
