So I've been looking everywhere on the iPhone (of course, maybe not the right sections) and nowhere can I find an area to create a new playlist. Anyone have a clue where it is?

Edit: Oops, posted this in the wrong forum...

If you go into your iPod area, go to the "Playlists" section and it should have a list of all your playlists, as well as an option to "Add Playlist".

    Hope this helps :)

I swear I must be blind, I can't see the Add Playlist option in that section.

At the top I see More and Now Playing; there's two playlists in the body that I created on iTunes and when I scroll down it shows the search bar at the top above the playlists...

Erm... That is really strange :\ There should be an "Add Playlist" option, listed in that body that's showing your playlists.

I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't be showing up

Weird... This is what I see:

I thought maybe I was just overlooking the feature so I suppose I should go ask in the Apple support forums. Thanks anyway, MasterChief3624!

That is plain bizarre.. I wonder if there's an option you have to turn on in the options or something..

Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance haha. :p. Good luck with it :)

SAME exact thing happened to me:/

I can't find it anywhere!!! I hope it's a bug that will be fixed with 4.0.1

That is... odd... try syncing to itunes again sometimes that fixes my problems. Like when I download a song but can't find it anywhere syncing seems to fix that.

And I'm sure you already did this but reboot your ipod too if syncing doesn't work. (That also fixes a lot of my problems...)

And for the record that really sucks, I love the new playlist creator as I couldn't make more than one and it could only be named "On the go". Makes it easier to make a custom playlist for gta without having to touch itunes lol.

Nah, no luck. I even downloaded a fresh copy of iOS4, restored the phone with iOS4 and nothing. Still same problem... :\

That is just plain odd... Its like somehow your version of ios4 is different than that of everyone elses... Like for example in that picture my playlist tab is on the far left and I don't even have a podcast tab at all... Hmm

You can actually re-organise those tabs, if you go into 'More' there should be an edit button at the top left where you can shuffle the icons around.

Oh I did not know that haha. Did you check Apples support or call them? What did they say?

If you've had your iPod jailbroken before, Apple says that is the reason...cuz there is leftover stuff from the jailbreak. They said they can't fix it unless it's un-jailbroken. :/ I'm gonna try another restore.

Did you bring it into them as a jailbroken device? D:

But doesn't restoring the device to its factory settings wipe away everything including the stuff jailbreaking changes? Because I did this and still don't have the create a playlist.
