No all it's playable offline. Internet connection is only needed if you want to post Facebook updates from within the game.

We've been reading all the comments posted on this forum and all the ideas are absolutely amazing, the feedback and suggestions are extremely helpful and please note that we WILL take all the suggestions seriously (some changes will already take effect in the next few days) and we will address any issue in the future that destroys the experience users will have playing Zombie Farm so keep em coming. I like the humour in the idea behind this game. Burying the dead and then harvestIng the undead Growing an undead army to unleash on others. Checked out the you tube video and will be sure to check out the game for myself. I do have a few questions: 1) how exactly does raiding other farms work? 2) Is there a battle? 3) Is there strategy involved?
Raiding friend's farms was the original idea, but since i'm not a networking whiz i had to postpone that. Instead you fight a computer opponent farmer. It's a reverse tower defense game so the strategy is pretty much farming for units then amassing them to go to battle. The higher you level the harder the opponent's difficulty so you have to keep your zombie army in good shape. Hope this answers your questions. Vince
