    Hello everyone,

    I am planning to launch a site/service to help developers promote their games.

    We already have the traffic source to push iPhone/iPod games in front of a wide audience. Also, we have over 8 years of experience in developing indie games.

    In order for this idea to work, we are planning a site which aims to offer gamers free promo codes. Basically, you have an idea on how this works, except that our approach is different from what you have seen so far.
    This won't be a a quick copy of an existing idea. We pushed indie games before and we have the knowledge to make it happen again.

    We can already show your game to at least 1000 unique people daily, right on their iPhone or iPod screen.

    For each promo code that we give away, we will show your game to at least 1000 unique users on their iScreen. We will offer independent auditing of these figures for you.

    Additional details will be discussed in private for the moment with selected developers.

    ------------
    Requirements to join:

    - Have a decent and polished game. (Sorry, but we are going to be a bit selective on what games we choose. We want to deliver results, but we also need good games to work with.)

    - The ability to offer at least 5 promo codes.

    To discuss details more indepth, please email us at: support [AT] exosyphenstudios [DOT] com. Send us a link to your game also.

    Good job,
    looks like more and more people are helping indie devs these days.

    Does it cost money for the indies?

    Hello everyone,

    First, thanks to everyone that emailed us with their games.
    You will all get a reply with additional details.

    To answer another popular question, it doesn't cost money.
    The website will gain it's traffic from 2 major sources:
    1. Our own advertising channels.
    2. Users returning to obtain free games.

    The concept of the site will be pretty neat, and we will unveil it to everyone shortly. Since we also use your free promo codes to gain traffic, it's fair to offer you the service for free.

    These are the official terms and conditions so far:

    - Have a quality polished game
    - Guaranteed 1000 unique visitors seing your game for each 1 promo code
    - No costs involved to participate.

    I've actually started working on a site too (still a bit rough), though it sounds like you might have something a bit more grand planned.

    @jonlink:

    I wouldn't really use the term "grand".
    It will be pretty big, but the focus is on the idea and concept.

    @tukun:

    We only plan to work and advertise outside of TA. We haven't considered TA as our traffic source. All I can say for the moment, is that the site will be plugged into "something" that is already used by up to 3000 unique people everyday on their iPhone/iPods.

    @Anim8rJB:

    What is "freemium" ?

    Hello,

    I have just sent EVERYONE who sent in an email, a reply.

    Some emails ended up in my SPAM folder (due to the iTunes links???).
    I think I recovered all of them, but just in case you haven't yet received a reply from us, please resend your email. Thank you.
