So far, either now or later, the following will be 99 cents: All Puzzle Agent Games. All Hector games. All Tales of Monkey Island Games. All Sam and Max games. More to follow? Maybe. Today has been insane.
Dunno, thise are iap games. These are all episodic; so Hector is 3 bucks for the series, Monkey Island is 5, etc. Perhaps an in-app sale? Don't like it that way. I don't want to have to worry about iapp restoration glitches. Forget which ones are Telltale, but other adventure games might go on sale in reaction...Back to the Future, Sword...argh, something something Swords... Too many sales at once. I can't spend anymore because I'm paralysed at the thought of missing the ONE game I really want but don't remember It's official, Christmas is on.
Ok so walking dead and law are out because there not seperate. I don't know if the cast voice the game that's what stopping me getting it strangely. So for telltale its Sam and max and the Hector's
Even though The Walking Dead has become my favorite iOS game to date, Puzzle Agent will always have a place in my heart. For anyone out there deciding whether or not to pick it up, please do. Wonderful point and click adventure that made me a Telltale fan.
It's a point and click adventure game with puzzle elements. The story centers around a detective that tries to solve a small town's mystery.
Puzzle Agent? If i remember correctly there is an easy mode and a normal mode. Not sure about a hard mode if it exists. Other than that, the puzzles are a good range of variety and difficulty from easy memory type ones to devious logic ones that'll test your wit a bit. Overall a friggin gooooood game.
walking dead will be free later..as seen in the other thread, now time to grab puzzle agents and hector..weeeeeeee!
I been reading hector episode one and there seems to be a big bug in the game something about not getting the handbag
okay so what are the must get games? Ive played hector (1), are 2 and 3 going to work on my first gen iPad?
I can't believe how compresed the graphics are on these games. Puzzle agent looks horrible on the retina ipad. It would be nice if they updated them, but that won't happen.
Ehm, you should probably go take a look at Graham Annable's other work; the chunky, fuzzy "crayon" artwork/animation is exactly what it is supposed to look like - that's his particular style. There's nothing to "update" in Puzzle Agent's case, certainly not if you're expecting inappropriate "Retina" sharpness. You'll notice that all appropriate text is high-resolution, though. Now, if you're playing the iPhone version on an iPad, well, that'll definitely make you think you've been swimming in chlorine.
I ran puzzle agent side by side on ipad and pc and the ipad version looks like shit. I understand the art style of this game, but it looks significantly worse. PS. And of course I'm bought the hd version.
