Hello everyone! It’s been a busy few months and I'm excited to announce my newest game, Word². Word² is a challenging game inspired by ancient word squares where you must unscramble each word not just once, but twice… Each square contains words in pairs that can be read both horizontally and vertically. Words are scrambled and your objective is to use hints, clues and logic to decipher each square. 80 challenging puzzles contain squares ranging in size from simple 3x3 grids to incredibly-complicated 6x6 ones. A colorful, minimalist aesthetic and beautiful, custom soundtrack composed by Anthem Falls Music provide a meditative ambience. If you've played any of the har•mo•ny series or Alpha Omega you'll see I really love puzzle games, good music and color Word² will be releasing this Thursday, November 12th in the App Store for $1.99. Borderleap makes some of the best looking, and sounding puzzle games on the app store. This one seems like it could be more tricky than Alpha Omega. Very cool!
Wow, thank you so much for the wonderful comments This one should remind you a bit of Alpha Omega - originally I'd planned on this game being more of a "compact" square-shaped version of AO but I wanted to take a bit of a new twist on it... Hope you enjoy it on Thursday!
Would love a code if you have any left, otherwise I look forward to playing on when game is released. Love the colours in the screenshots, gives it a bit of a Harmony feel.
Great concept, I've seen it on pen and paper before and surprised no one has made a game of it yet! Looking forward to release but I wouldn't complain about a code if there are any left
Same here The puzzles are quite complicated to generate... Would love to share more sometime about the level generator and how it was made. I dont always chance upon the new games thread. But, i saw "BorderLeap" and i am a huge fan of Alpha Omega. I would love a promo code for your upcoming game as I have Veterans Day off, but otherwise will wait til it comes out and just wish you best of success.
I got a code for this game from the developer (thanks) and I am enjoying it. It has the usual BorderLeap polish and quality as well as much appreciated Game Center support. I think the game concept is a good one. I have graduated to the 4 by 4 letter grid puzzles and it is getting very challenging. Great game!
