With the huge array of tower defense games that are available on the appstore, I was wondering if anyone was developing or even thinking of developing a line tower wars style TD based on the Warcraft 3 map. Basically, its a multiplayer TD. You build your own towers to defend against creeps that your opponents send to you, the more creeps you send, the more money you get per 30 seconds or so. This type of TD is so crazy fun when you play with friends, the only problem I foresee is that the games can get pretty long. But still, it is my favorite TD sub genre. Besides, most TD games are long, but they are single player games.
precisely! Actually, a better example from a custom WC3 map would be wintermaul wars, the design is better I feel.. Still, it would be interesting if they could somehow implement that in a TD game for the iphone, it would be like a multiplayer TD
