Listen up soldier! The war in Afghanistan began following the attacks of September 11, where the United States launched a mission known as Operation Enduring Freedom. The purpose of this military campaign was to destroy the Al-Qaeda terrorist training camps outside Afghanistan. In 2001, the United States sent several teams of CIA Paramilitary Officers and U.S. Army Special Forces to invade Afghanistan. Backed by U.S. air strikes against the Taliban and Al-Qaeda forces, the Northern Alliance overtook Kabul and overthrew the Taliban. Afghanistan, with the help of the Russians are trying to overtake those U.S. Forces. Your mission is to hold your position and repel the invading Russian / Afghanistan forces. Good Luck Soldier! Note: The following video is a sneak preview of the gameplay in Air Assault: [hqyoutube]V5v0NSSV3Bc[/hqyoutube] We welcome your feedback!
looks pretty cool are there going to be other weapons we get to use or will there be any special attack like being able to call in an airstrike/attack helicopter of our own or something like that?
This looks really cool. Nice take on castles defense, this is definitely on my "games to watch" list.
Totally different type of game then castles defense. The inspiration for this game came from a very popular 1985 game for the Macintosh called Airborne! Note that Air Assault is still noticeably different from that game however.
SnakeHead Software will support their games. I'm a fan of theirs since the beginning. Look for quality work from these guys and if there are user suggestions that they find necassary or reasonably useful they tend to take these into consideration. Gerald n crew, cheers and best of success, Richard
