hey Buddies, currently we are working on a new ACT based Puzzle game, Tiny Q. you might have heard about it already. now, the team is fighting around the game icon! yeah, i made a mistake! how could i forget to check the poll option! it seems there was no way to mix it. the good thing is there are only 2 options. people can still say something to it. thank god!
I chose icon 1 since i don't like the green border around icon 2, icons are so small already if it has a border it just forces everything inside to be even smaller. Plus the yellow background helps make the character stand out better.
Picking #2, it has a more clear open look to it that accents the icon more as the other one has the two opposing colors that makes the icon look too congested.
I disagree. I think it makes the icon look small. And with the size of icons the smaller they are the less they stand out.
hmm. I like them both so much! #1 stands out more with the colors, but #2 has a nice artistic feel to it. I'm going to have to go with #2 just slightly. Either way, in the end, I'll like either one that ends up on my ipod.
I went with 2 also. I like the border, it will give more pop against backgrounds, and it feels more artistic, balanced, and well-crafted. Pop is the most important attribute for an icon. You want something that will stand it when your eyes are weeping through a screen full of icons, and it should have enough going on to keep those eyes there.
the egg is too multicolored! I guess you were going for cute. But would be better if u gave it a nice 3D look... And if you want cute, you can make it some other color than white. But otherwise option 1
icon 1. Quick suggestion: make the leaf in front of the egg slightly smaller so we can see more of the egg design?
