I'm curious why the new Co-op DLC is not available on the iPad. Did they forget to activate it?

Apparently you can do co op on the existing missions but the new dlc isnt coming to iPad because it can't handle it, that's what they said on facebook anyway. :p sucks balls if you ask me. As iPad is my only gaming device and I bought all the rest of the dlc for space hulk, then this is how were repaid. They could do with bringing the file size down a bit too.

That seems to pretty much confirm my suspicions that IOS won't see future functions such as a level editor. The game uses so much memory I think they have done all they can with it on mobile.

This sucks badly like all turn based games they all suffer the same major flaws and these flaws have ruined every single game, Shadowrun returns and Xcom both suffer from those same flaws and destroy all these games!

What flaws? Warhammer Quest was amazing.

One star review because you hate the genre? Outstanding.

With the price drop, I finally pulled the trigger on this game. Looking forward to a deep dive.

To vicsard, after comparing some online screenshots with the game itself, the IAPs don't appear to be discounted.

Having a blast with these turned based games. Looking forward to some quality time with this one. What turned based combat games have you enjoyed? PM me your favs. So far loved Arma Tactics, Autumn Dynasty, Frozen Synapse, Warhammer & Breach/Clear.

If you ever played the game you would understand that putting this on an iPhone would require a complete redesign. The screen is already small (but good enough) on an iPad Mini

Just picked this up on sale for $2.99. Obviously a steal but I don't normally play this type of game. I really did enjoy a Warhammer though. Looking forward to giving this one a whirl.

How does this game compare to XCom and Warhammer Quest?

It plays very similarly to both thos titles but I think it more closely resembles the Hunters game by Rodeo Games. This one assigns action points to the characters like Hunters does so you are left with trying to decide how best to spend those points each turn. Shooting moving and even turning cost action points so the movement can feel sluggish. The game also takes place in tight corridors which further makes movement choices feel limited.

If you can buy into the turn based movement rules and dice roll dictated success it's not a bad game. Certainly worth the $3 and graphically much nicer than the Hunters games. It's also got a pretty decent sized campaign.

    It's 32-bit, unfortunately.
