We both have spherical worlds but my game has nothing to do with that. And that's good for me. ultimo Well-Known Member May 5, 2009 3,840 1 38 #8 ultimo, Sep 10, 2009 You could have used the Lite instead of spending a $ on tht.... btw, what is your game about ? Funnybob Member Sep 6, 2009 10 0 0 #9 Funnybob, Sep 10, 2009 @Ultimo Yeah I know but it not waisted. My kid will have a lot of fun and it's only 1$. I prefer not to say anything about my game right now because so far I haven't seen anything like it on the app store. Then again, I didn't see all 21 000 games but... You'll have about ten people slavering as your sounding board over whatever new game concept you've come up with. Plus they'll obsessively check your spelling. Funnybob Member Sep 6, 2009 10 0 0 #11 Funnybob, Sep 10, 2009 Or they will think: What a great concept that's never been done before! Better make it faster then this guy and make all the money! Comassion Well-Known Member May 23, 2009 258 0 0 #12 Comassion, Sep 10, 2009 Also possible. Funnybob Member Sep 6, 2009 10 0 0 #13 Funnybob, Sep 10, 2009 Highly possible... if there's 21000 games on the app store that means there's an awful lot of developers out there. It's hard enough to come out with something that hasn't been done yet and that will interest people. My first game, Cubic Match, is different but apparently people aren't too crazy about it. I got hundreds of downloads for the free version but very few bought it. I don't really know why. Maybe it's boring, may be it's too difficult. Nobody left any feedback on the app store. But the next one will be very nice and it will be visually stunning compare to the flat shaded 3D games that we usually see on iPhones. I cheat a lot and I push the iPhone to it's limit. To give you an idea it's recommended not to display more then 2000 polygons at the same time on the screen. I managed to get 23 000 and still get 27 fps. I'm working on some optimization that may give me more speed. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
