How many Gameloft titles do you have, and do you think they're worth it?

I think they make very solid, well produced games but lack originality.

    I have 8 Gameloft titles.

Hard to be that original in today's gaming world. You can only really do the same with better graphics/more polish/etc. However, there have been a few exceptions. Gameloft has brought games to the iPhone that no one thought possible (for example, a 3D sandbox game....Gangstar). I own all of their games. A couple I regret, but most are on my FP!

Looking on my device I own...

    Guitar Rock Tour 2
    Gangstar
    Hero of Sparta
    NFL 2010
    Siberian Strike

And I am going to get Dungeon Hunter once it's out as well. I have to agree with your statement. The games tend to look and play "pretty good" to "great" but they don't ever try and break new ground with anything and it seems they always put stuff important to me, like story, as an after thought.

That said I am very happy with my purchases and enjoy playing the games fairly often :).

Okay, without harping on about it, I just have to point something out. There is a big difference in using the same gameplay mechanics, style, and objectives, without stealing outright a games UI, graphics, and story. I mean come on! Have you seen gangstar's UI. Another argument is that they fill the void that the big studios have left with their absence. Well Rockstar has entered the fray, so one can only hope they'll show gameloft how it's really done. I have no beef with the "quality" of their games. Only their shallow, and blatant attempts at feeding off another products recognition.

    EDIT:
    Hero of Sparta
    Brother's in Arms
    Let's Golf
    Oregon Trail,

I quit buying them after that.

Hmm... Let's see... I own the following titles:
    •Hero of Sparta
    •Modern Combat: Sandstorm
    •Blades of Fury
    •Let's Golf!

I may have more, but I will have to look. Their games are extremely well-polished and Grade "A" quality, but as others have said, most of their games with the exception of Hero of Sparta lack originality in either their characters, gameplay, story, or all of the above. If they manage to incorporate online Wi-Fi Multiplayer by way of Gameloft LIVE, then I think they will do better, and for us customers, I think we will be even happier and more satisfied with our purchases.

    I own 10 and it's a love/hate relationship.

I think MC:Sandstorm and Blades of Fury are awesome!

The ones I like but aren't great: Hero of Sparta, Terminator Salvation, Real Tennis

The ones I am disappointed with: Gangstar, Rise of Lost Empires, Brothers in Arms, Assasin's Creed

And finally there is the most pathetic attempt at a football game that is NFL2010 which I think is horrible and mostly unplayable.

Anyway, I am really looking forward to Dungeon Hunter!!:D

Ferrari, let's golf, Gangstar, some others I forget right now so probably 4+ or so.

Most of my gameloft games are the early ones, with their latest wave of awesome though I will soon be buying all of their stuff.

I think I just have three. They make very polished games and I admire that but they are totally creatively bankrupt and I have little respect for them as a games company. Making clones of other games went out in the 80s. They could at least make an effort to add something of their own to their titles.

But that new one, Nova, seems to suggest they aren't about to do that any time soon.

I think I own three games from Gameloft:

    Real Football 2009
    Let's golf!
    TV Show King

These games are polished, that's for sure. But unfortunately you can see that Gameloft is a company developing for different systems, not putting too much attention to its titles. If you compare that to Hand Circus / ngmoco, Gameloft still has a long way to go.
If someone is devoting himself fully to iPhone development, than titles like Rolando are possible. Rolando seems to be a game done with heart and mind. I can't see a Gameloft title with the quality of Rolando right now.
I hope that changes soon, but I'm not sure. At least online mulitplayer should give Gameloft titles a little more depth.
