Fishy chisel-jawed super agent James Pond is set to make a triumphant return on June 30th, in a new title for the iPhone and iPad. James Pond in the Deathly Shallows - an obvious nod to Harry Potter's last adventure - will task you with surviving deadly underwater mazes, as you attempt to rid the oceans of filthy pollution. Taking control of Pond, Mr Pond, you'll battle starfish, barracuda, and jellyfish armed (or rather gilled) with your trusty bubble gun and an 'innovative control method devised specifically for iOS devices." James Pond in the Deathly Shallows will be the first game in a brand new series of James Pond adventures. As you've probably already guessed, James Pond was conceived with more than a passing nod to Ian Fleming's super spy 007. The series has subsequently sold over two million units worldwide since 1990. Grab it from the App Store from June 30th.
Is this official? I'd rather have a James Pond 3 port, but you can't fault the cod, might have to pick it up for old time's sake.
