Agree with the above poster. I love the new menus! They're brighter and easier to read, but the game's gems look more dull and flat and less gem-like.
Personally, I like the buttons the way you have them now (meaning the outline to the menu selections, that looks really nice). The new level select screen and other menus look much better imo. I think the old icon is better too. The gems could probly go either way, though I kinda like the old yellow/orange ones. If you could incorporate that in the new one, you'd have the best way I think there.
I know there could be some people like the old style icon. But when put it among other game icons, it looks too much like an application rather than a game.
I have no strong preference, but I slightly prefer the older look. Really, it does seem like such a minor change. I enjoy the look of the buttons in the current game, but perhaps the jewels could be more snazzy and this does not look to be any different now. I do like the new icon much better.
