    Hello there!

First of all I'm a huge gaming nut and an even bigger film & game music nut.
I've been composing electronic music from the early 1999 so I've come a long way to where I am right now. I've explored so many genres over the years that today you can say I'm a rather diverse composer. I can handle scores from cinematic, big and epic to atmospheric, ambient and moody. Not to mention my background of many years with electronic genres. I also like to mix these styles together whenever I get the change.

My long lasting dream has been to compose for games, and lately I have taken the interest in iphone apps/games specifically. My website works as my showcase and as a source for more information about me and my previous works, so visit http://www.yasahimusic.com if you got interested.

My most recent projects have been over at the world of machinima, where I've had the chance to compose some very cinematic music, but as I mentioned, whether it is electronic with beats, eerie atmospheres or epic action music, no problem, I'm on it.

I'm including a few links here for some immediate demos:

For a video about glass manifacturing:

For a Fallout 3 Mod that replaced the original music (more at the site):

    For a short-film about memories and self-realization:

For an advert for a musical happening:

For an advert with a slightly strange touch:

    ------------------------------------------------------------------

And some rather cinematic demos composed for demonstration purposes:

    Dark'ish action theme:

    Cinematic cheesy/corny theme:

And a little demo tribute resembling Hans Zimmer's music:

Hope you liked the sound, I am very excited to get to work on any projects you might have on your mind, so I hope to hear from you!

And thanks if you cared to read this far!

Really enjoyed your dark action theme! Some great ideas in there, and good luck with your pursuits in finding work here, from one artist to another!

    All the best.

If you're looking to do this for larger developers I suggest contacting them directly because I doubt they read these forums, but if you're planning on regarding this message to indie/smaller developers, I highly doubt they will waste their increasingly small budget on some nice classy game music, that is of the absolute least concern to the developer, and of even more so less concern in regards to how the gamer feels

Thank you all for taking your time on this. As for my motives, I am here basically to get more experience and to have more interesting projects on my resume. I don't see why any game maker would NOT want to have something done for them personalized.

I am not here for money, but for experience. But of course the scale of the project and the budget determine how the work will be done.

And to answer your question dogmeat, no I have absolutely no classical training whatsoever. I have planned on it, but my current studies on media and sound and other things are keeping me busy enough. And I never got those piano lessons when I was a kid, oh well.

On the contrary: I've had interest from several indies I met through this forum, and the game work I've done adds significantly to the gaming experience, (usually being called out by game reviewers as exceptional).

If you think music and audio is of no consequence to the UX, you're wrong.

Heh, even tho they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, I have no faith in that statement whatsoever. It's just a question of enthusiasm, commitment and will.

And I totally agree Gravity Jim.
