Hello. First of all I'm coming from germany and my english is not really good. But I hope you can understand me. I'm looking for retro-inspired games for iOS. No emulated games like R-Type or Double Dragon. I looking for original games with retro graphics (like The Incident) or clones from exist games back in the 80s and 90s. For example: Starbounder (a clone of the old SkyRoads from 1993), 8 Bit Rally ( a clone of the Lotus games from Amiga systems) or Final Freeway 2R (OutRun). I have a iDevice since 3 months and there are so many and thousand of games... I can't overview this. My preference genres are Platformer, Racing, Puzzle, Arcade and these things. I hope you can help me. P.S.: No games with IAP (exception remove ads like in FF2R or BlockBoy. This is fair. But I HATE pay2win-Games!)

Hmmm there's a game that's free at the moment called "quiet please" and it's retro and awesome, no IAP or anything.. The same company have a few other games that are similar. Organ Trail: Director's Cut. A post-apocalypse zombie spin-off of the classic Oregon trail. One of my favorite iOS games ever.
There are already about two threads of similar nature, so there's no real point to this thread. Since I'm using the app I can't link them, but I can tell you it might be on the second and third pages of this subsection.
Why is this discussion in the comments of this game. It would be neat if anyone was talking about this game. Ok I'll start one...how do u calibrate controls. Seems like it could be fun but I have to hold my phone tilted to the right. My gyroscope works fine with all other tilt games.
