In the FAQ, there's a section for reputation. What's up with that? Did I miss something? Is it coming?

    Lol, that would be terrible.

Personally, I think I might be in the middle. Not too bad, not too good.

I'd be negative 70 depending I how much time rocketman has. I'm friends with newbies and like 50 other members so I would be evened out then.

A rep system would have just that problem. People would go around acting stupid and down repping people. I have seen the rep system in action. It doesn't work. Pre-Christmas TA, it could have worked great. In fact, it would have helped the community, but not now. There is just too much immaturity.

I've just got to ask, do you have any self-esteem at all? Every other post has something to do with how great EDNG was. He's gone, what's the point of reminiscing on something we're not getting back?

Instead of remember pre-Christmas TA and how "great" it was, do something about it and stop complaining. You're acting like one of those old guys in nursing homes commenting on how everything was better before WWI. This is a frickin' iPhone game forum, for pete's sake, not a country!

so you were hardly even here for the Pre-Christmas TouchArcading.. you don't know what it was like.

I was here for a month during this time, I kid you not, it was my life ;)

You haven't a clue. I have plenty of self esteem, but WTF does that have to do with anything.

TA went through a noticable change after Xmas, and it was 10x better then. How can I do anything to change new members being new members?

Thank you Paulio. It takes people who had a good while pre-Christmas and have witnessed this afterwards to appreciate both how great, and a small, close-knit haven TA was then, and how much different it is now.

This forum like any other internet forum is just going through the phrases. A period of good times when it just started, followed by a period of flooding when the forum gains popularity. If this forum is lucky, it won't be followed up with frequent flaming and intolerance of newbies, quarrels between admin/mods and forum vets over mod policies, and finally degeneration into neglect, chaos, flames and people leaving to form new forums.
