Lost Portal is a collectable card game that involves exploring dungeons and fighting AI enemies and bosses, collecting treasure and leveling up your character to gain new abilities.

    FEATURES
    - Four character slots allow you to create up to four characters at one time
    - Four levels of difficulty provide increasing challenges and risks.
    - Random enemies and card drops means no two games are exactly the same
    - 175 cards to discover in four rarities: common, uncommon, rare and ultra-rare
    - Over 80 enemies and bosses to challenge across 5 towns and 15 dungeons.

    DECK EDITOR
Easily add cards to your deck using the deck editor. Use color, type and rarity filters to find the cards you want. Each character you create can keep up to four decks.

    CARD SHOP
Buy new cards at card shops located in towns and dungeons using gold you've collected. You can also sell unwanted cards for more gold.

    FORGE
Visit the Forge to create new cards by sacrificing cards from your library. Each forge has a random selection of rare cards that can be forged.

    ABILITY TRAINER
Gain experience by defeating enemies. When you level up, you gain ability points that you can spend, along with gold, to increase your abilities. Increase your Health, Agility, Wisdom and Intellect to gain different advantages and unlock additional abilities.

This game has no IAP but expansions are planned that would be offered through IAP.

Looks amazing! But no landscape mode? If so, that is becoming a depressing trend (for me anyways). I prefer landscape mode for any "meaty games" on both my iPhone and iPad.

Agreed. Having the option for landscape is so much better for anything I want to play for very long.

I love portrait!!!! Mabinogi Duel plays beautifully (as an example)!!!! I'm all for having both options but prefer portrait on my phone!

Glad you like the looks of the game, and yes it is portrait mode only. It works well for one-handed play. I have experimented with landscape mode as well, but it is not in this release. I know landscape mode would work well on larger devices in particular.

My first build made it through review in about four days, so I'd guess it may take them another day or so.

What's the initial price point ?

Also is the combat so you pick which creatures to fight ? Does your character gain any abilities or weapons ?

Price is USD $2.99 (Tier 3).

Combat is similar to Orions and others, where the creatures automatically attack if not fatigued (i.e., when first cast) at the end of your turn. Any creature across from an attacking creature automatically blocks. An unblocked creature damages the opponent.

Your character has four abilities: Health, Agility, Wisdom and Intellect, and each has four sub-abilities that unlock as you increase that ability. Increased Health, for example, gives you increased life in each duel. If your Health is high enough, you also unlock Aura of Life which gives a chance that each creature you cast starts with +1 life.
